At Singapore, half the ships we track are sitting at anchor: 69 of 142

A live snapshot of Port Flow's Singapore port view: 69 of the 142 vessels we're currently tracking there are at anchor — 49%. At the world's busiest transshipment and bunkering hub, that's a lot of steel waiting rather than working.

Methodology: figures are from public AIS across 51 ports and 12 chokepoints. We also run AIS-gap (dark) and loitering detection, but raw counts conflate intentional gaps with coverage holes — so we treat those as leads to investigate, not headline numbers. Where coverage is thin (parts of the Med and the Gulf) we say so rather than overstate. See the methodology and accuracy benchmark.
